intending to travel on a tour operated by SAHÌA Travel.
TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING

A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when SAHÌA TRAVEL sends a confirmation invoice. It is at this point that a contract between SAHÌA Travel and the client comes into existence. Before your booking is confirmed, and a contract comes into force, SAHÌA Travel reserves the right to increase or decrease the tour prices.

Banking information will be provided at time of booking. You will be responsible to pay any fee related to the transaction charged by your bank.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING
Should you wish to change your arrangement, an amendment fee of EUR 50 per booking plus any additional
costs incurred will be charged if a confirmed booking is changed or transferred prior to 30 days before departure. Thereafter, all changes will be treated as cancellations and subject to the charges below. Changes are subject to availability.

If you are unable to come due to Covid related restrictions in your home country, this is considered as a
cancellation. For this reason, having an appropriate travel insurance cover in place is essential.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR PROGRAM WHILE ON TOUR
Should you wish to interrupt, modify or shorten your trip, any service not used cannot give rise to any refund. The modification of the services, for personal convenience, may result in additional charges.
IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT
Should the client have a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, the client must tell both the relevant supplier and SAHÌA Travel’s representative at the time. It is only if SAHÌA Travel and the relevant supplier know about problems that there will be the opportunity to put things right. Failure to complain on the spot will result in the client’s ability to claim compensation from SAHÌA Travel being extinguished or at least reduced.
IF WE CHANGE YOUR PROGRAM
While SAHÌA Travel will use its best endeavors to operate the tour as agreed and confirmed, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed necessary or advisable. SAHÌA Travel reserves the right to change any of the facilities, services or prices before a booking is made. If a major change is known to us, the client will be told at the time of booking, otherwise SAHÌA Travel will inform the client as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before departure. The definition of a major change will depend on circumstances. When a major change is made the client will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing an alternative tour or cancelling the tour and obtaining a full refund.
IF WE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING
SAHÌA Travel reserves the right to cancel a tour in case of force majeure, or the client’s failure to pay the final balance. Unless the client fails to pay the final balance, SAHÌA Travel, upon cancellation, will return all monies paid. Force majeure is war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, airline failure, closure of airports, government or other authority travel restrictions, or other similar events beyond the control of SAHIA Travel.
SURCHARGES
The tour rate at the time of the order is the net price, which remains valid except in case of a significant depreciation of the Malagasy Ariary currency compared to the euro. From a depreciation compared to the euro of -5% between the date of the billing’s establishment and the full payment of the order, Sahìa Travel reserves the right to alter the price of the tour and forward an amended invoice. In any case, no possible modification of the offer price may be applied after the full payment of the order.
INSURANCE
SAHÌA Travel takes out professional liability insurance covering its commitments throughout the stay of its customers in Madagascar. Although SAHÌA Travel does hold various insurances this booking condition states that the client must assume he/she is not covered by any Company insurance policy, including all liability insurance, for death, injury, damage or any other loss. Therefore, clients are responsible for effecting sufficient personal travel insurance. Clients together with their personal property including baggage are at all times solely at their own risk. Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance and ensuring that they are in possession of private Travel Insurance with protection for the full duration of the tour in respect of at least medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate benefits. Clients should also ensure that they have suitable insurance cover in place to cover any Covid related restrictions on travel that may be imposed by your home country.
