
The land of lemurs, stone forest and paradise island

Day 1 : Arrival in Antananarivo
Arrival at Ivato International airport from your international flight. Welcome and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 : Antananarivo – Berenty
Transfer back to Ivato airport and fly by private plane to Berenty aistrip. Short car trip till the hotel.
Visit the reserve in the afternoon. This is one of the best places to see lemurs in their natural habitat. It is a veritable open-air scientific laboratory, which delights naturalists all over the world.

Day 3 : Berenty private reserve
Full Day dedicated to discover the private reserve of Berenty. This is a real sanctuary for the 2 000 lemurs who live there freely. The Reserve allows you to discover 102 species of birds and more than one hundred other species: reptiles, turtles, bats … Natural and floristic varieties, such as forests, red sands, bush, also offer a show of incomparable endemic wealth.
You will also get the opportunity to visit one of the richest museums in Madagascar. The Arembelo Museum presents a unique collection of artifacts and traditions of the Antandroy culture, the people of the land of thorns.
Day 4 : Berenty – Amborodia – Bekopaka
Transfer to Berenty airstrip, then fly by private plane to Amborodia landing strip. Be sure to look out the window of your aircraft as you fly over the Tsingy of Bemaraha, Madagascar’s first World Heritage site, a spectacular limestone massif with hidden canyons and forests.
Upon arrival, board your 4WD vehicle and transfer to Bekopaka ( 1h30 ), the nearest village to the Tsingy of Bemaraha.

Day 5 & Day 6 : Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park
Canoë expedition along Manambolo river until the gorges to discover its caves ( full of Stalactites and stalagmites ) and Vazimba tombs, then 2 full days to explore the NP of Tsingy de Bemaraha : the small Tsingy, and the great Tsingy.
The Tsingy are a very peculiar rock formation, only existing in Madagascar. These are limestone pinnacles, formed by the slow sedimentation of coral and shell, worked by wind and water movements, since Madagascar separated from Africa 165 million years ago. These strange « cathedral-like » peaks can tower several hundred meters high. The NP of Tsingy of Bemaraha is classified UNESCO World Heritage. These « stone forests » contain caves, underground rivers, canyons, where bats, lemurs, birds and a specific flora have adapted.

Day 7 : Bekopaka – Amborodia – Morondava – Antananarivo
Transfer back to Amborodia landing airstrip, to board your charter flight to Morondava to visit the world-famous Avenue of Baobabs, particularly stunning at dawn and dusk.
After spending sometime in this dreamy place your charter flight brings you back to Antananarivo.

Day 8 : Antananarivo – Andasibe
Drive to Andasibe ( 144 Km/3h ). Stop on the way in Marozevo for a short visit of the private reserve “Pereyras”, where reptiles and chameleons are easily seen.
Once in Andasibe, installation at your hotel.
Day 9 & Day 10 : Andasibe National Park
2 fulldays dedicated to visit the National Park of Andasibe.
The particularity of Andasibe is first of all the morning song of Indri Indri, the largest of the lemurs. This natural park is also home to many other animal species. The ecosystem of this place is varied with colorful flora and fauna: orchids, guava trees, bamboos and eucalyptus.
Night walks along the national park will be organised, to spot the nocturnal species of lemurs.

Day 11 : Andasibe – Antananarivo – Nosy Be – Tsarabanjina
Drive back to Antananarivo ( 3h ), going to the airport to board your charter flight to Nosy Be.
Upon arrival, boat transfer to Mitsio archipelago ( 1h30 ), where TSARABANJINA is located, a paradise and sacred island, which offers the art of living the exceptional, a bit closer to nature. A private island whose lush vegetation is home to sea-bird colonies such as the fish eagle and the famous Madagascar bird of paradise…
Day 12 & Day 13 : Tsarabanjina
Day at leisure at Mitsio archipelago to relax.
At TSARABANJINA, the luxury is nature. Here, nothing is flashy. Happiness lies in the authenticity of the places. We go barefoot, even to the bar whose fine sandy ground opens onto the lagoon.
The atmosphere is informal, but elegant at Tsarabanjina, which even has a boutique where you can pick up Malagasy arts and crafts and clothes. And if you are worried about getting bored between swimming, diving and taking walks to discover your private island, the library proposes a wide choice of books and games.
Day 14 : Tsarabanjina – Nosy Be – Antananarivo
Boat transfer back to Nosy Be, going to the airport and flying back to Antananarivo, by Tsaradia regular flight or by private plane.
